I don't have mine done, but make sure the place doing it shows you that the needle is a brand new needle, and ask questions about how to care for it so it doesn't get infected because infections there would hurt a lot. You should be fine, though. Nipple piercings take around 3 months to fully heal.

All I can say is ouch and I'm sure it hurts....not to scare you! I don't even have my ears pierced. Maybe it's just a phobia of mine, but my husband doesn't like piercings anyway.

Just think about doing a different spot if you ever plan to become pregnant and or breastfeed.

I actually have them
I got them done about 5 years ago. I will say it hurts, alot, Shocked I went in they use a curved needle. the first one I screamed a very not nice word. the second I did it again. Then I couldn't stop laughing and it took about 10 minutes until they could put the rings in. It takes a long time to heal, but I am pleased. As for breastfeeding I cannot say.

I don't have them done but I just ask my friends about hers. She said ofcourse when they put the clampon her nipples and stuck the niddle through it was painful as hell. Then after she got them done they were sore for a few days. She aslo told me to make sure you don't get anything cought up on it, because if you do and you pull it you will be screamin. I mean your nipples are sensitve so I can just picture something going through them, But at the same time "Different strokes for different folks" I know they would look very good. If you decide to get them let me know how it went. Good luck. XOXO

When I went in to get mine done I went with a friend who already had them. She said it was orgasmic. As we were leaving I told her she must be some kind of freak, cause that was painful. After a few years I actually took them out. The holes never closed, they just shrank. I ended up getting them streched back to what they were. My only advice...don't let them close or shrink. Either keep them or decide not to put them back ever again. It was horrible.

Hello. I myself am a piercing enthusiaist, though I have not personally undergone nipple piercing. I am listing a website below which you may want to look at to aid you with selecting a piercer. The organization is called the association of professional piercers, and piercers certified with them have to attend seminars and training to make sure they are familar with the best piercing methods and how to execute them successfully.
