Q: nights sweats caused by CP

I always sweat at night, and it's not just a little bit of sweat either... like I will wake up with sweat rolling off of me and usually I can just wipe it off of my body and go back to sleep, but this morning I woke up (only like 2 hours after going to bed)... and there was literally a puddle of sweat in my bed. It was kinda really disgusting. Sad

So I got up, got on my computer and GOOGLED "profuse sweating at night"... and found out that one of the known causes of night sweats can be cerebral palsy Shocked I have never heard that before!!! But if I think about it, it makes sense, because night sweats are not new for me. I've had them for as long as I can remember, but the thing is now they seem to be getting a lot worse as I get older. (not my CP... the night sweats) I don't get it... if CP is a non-progressive thing, why the hell is an effect of it getting worse?!?! Confused my night sweats were no where NEAR this bad when I was younger. Mad

So now I am wondering... does anyone have this (or am just a freak of nature), and is there a way to make it stop (or at least dramatically decrease)? It is nasty, gross, and not mention embarrassing!!! Embarassed

HELP!!! flags after getting only 2 hours of sleep, and then not being able to stay in my bed any longer because of a puddle of sweat in my bed, I am desperate for answers and/or relief!!!

P.S.
sorry if I grossed anyone out.
