Do you recognize these symptoms. Awake in middle of night. Nauseous, hot and dizzy. It's a building process: I wake up nauseous then I begin getting hotter and hotter and very thirsty then I try to get to the toilet. Sometimes I vomit, sometimes I lose control of my bowels. I pass out for a couple seconds sometimes I come in and out. Then it's over. Afterwards I'm very cold and tired, I just want to sleep. I've passed out off of the stairs and the last time off of the toilet where my husband found me we don't know how long later. I had stitches in my head and a concusion. This has been happening for the last 25 years. I've been tested for everything including: hypoglycemia, hyperventilation, astma, mitral valve regurgitation. I've passed out while wearing a heart monitor with no results. I've been tested for hypoglycemia in the middle of a passing out event. I've had an aortic coarctation operation. The last few years I've found the connection with alcohol makes it worse however it also occurs without alcohol consumption. I've had an EEG and a sleep deprivated EEG. I'm awaiting an MRI next week. Could this be indeed Epilepsy and if so what type of seizures could these be? I've been waiting for and answer for 25 years with no result.

u surely have epilepsy, please donot try rushing to the toilet during or after a seizure. Tell yout husband or someone else to accompany u to the toilet. If no one is there, it would be better to do it in the pants or bed than falling down & getting hurt in the toilet.
