Q: Nickle allergy

My 7 yr. old daughter was recently diagnosed with nickle allergy.
She had a horrible recurring rash on her belly from the snaps on jeans and then it spread all over her body. We are trying to rid her clothes of nickle....
I can not find nickle free rivets or snaps for jeans. Any help???

I've tried a nonickle webiste----they are never in stock.

Please let me know what you've done, or brands of jeans that are nickle free - if any.....painting them with nail polish hasn't worked at all. I've also sewed patches on the back of the snaps and she still reacts.

Nickle allergy

I am also allergic to nickle. When I wear jeans I wear a long undershirt or t-shirt (tucked in) and that helps. I've also tried putting band-aid tape across the rivet back, but that doesn't stay on very well or very long.
