First Time Mom, My newbord daughter is 1 week old today and it appears that she has a hemmorhoid is this normal or is it cause for alarm.

This isn't common, but it does happen. You can treat it with a milk hemorrhoid cream, but it's probably a good idea to take her to the doctor to confirm that it is hemorrhoid and not something else. It should clear up with the cream in a few days, but if it doesn't, a visit to the doctor is urgent.
