First a back story, when my daughter was born a first test from her heel said she had a high white blood cell count, my doctor told the nurses test her again but to get a sample from a different place, they did the same test again from the same place and got the same results. When my doctor came in later she redid the test from a different place and said nothing had ever been wrong with my daughter, the test was wrong. Well now my nephew born on the 23 has a high count, they have only tested from the heel, where else can they test from to insure a proper diagnosis? I don't know if I'm remembering things wrong from my daughter's birth though. Are there other tests they can run? My sister was induced, she was only 4 days past her due date by the way.
