Q: New thyroid nodule since thyroid radioablation?

Hi!
I'm new here and am a 41 YO female. A few years ago I had radioactive iodine treatment for Grave's hyperthyroidism. In the last few weeks, my requirement for synthroid has decreased and an ultrasound showed a new hypoechoic nodule. Does anyone know if it is normal to get new nodules after radioactive iodine treatment? Thanks!
