I have been on the pill diane for 2 years, and when i go onto my sugar tablets it takes four days on them to get my period.. is that normal?
i have recently changed pills to YAZ (as i was getting really moody on diane) being on yaz has improved my moods a lot. with the pill YAZ it works different them most pills.. instead of being on the sugar tablets for 7 days, YAZ is only for 4 and the normal pill instear of the cycle of 21 is 24, if that makes scene.
but since on the new pill my period has become really light...
i have unprotected sex.. and for the past two months have felt bloated and my breasts have been very tender. i dont know whether its my hormones changing through the different pill or should i take a pregnancy test.

You certainly can take a pregnancy test if that will help you feel better-- I used to keep a few around the house just in case I needed some assurance.

Shorter and lighter periods can happen with different birth control pills-- its a fun side effect to most of them. Enjoy! Very Happy

You are probably feeling some weird side effects from changing pills. Most, if not all, negative side effects should go away within the first three months.

If your side effects don't go away, then you can speak to your doctor and see if there's another pill that would be a better choice.
