I just got my mirena IUD inserted last monday and i havent stopped bleeding. It has been extremely difficult going through this first week and I cant help think that i have made a mistake.

Should I get it removed or should i stick it out for a month?

I would stick it out and see, i bled for a few weeks on and off the first month, i would give it at least two months.

Bleeding
I spotted for more than the three months the doctor told me to expect. It was hard, but now that it's stopped, and I've had it for almost two years it is so worth it! Having lighter periods and no babies for five years, it can't get any better than that.
