This is a common problem that has many symptoms simillar to other mental disorders. The problem is most people do not recocnize it as a problem since they grew up with it and assume it is normal. Tinnitus treatments can greatly improve your way of life. I have this condition and am currently in a type of treatment for it. I have found it goes in hand with ADD/ADHD. Also has many similar symptoms of bipolar disorder.

I think it sould be adressed so those with it know it is not normal and it should be looked at.

Thanks

I find breathing exercises help me manage tinnitus. Also, regular cleaning of the sinuses.

This was meant to be a sugestion for a new thread. I dont know why it was moved here. Nothing does anything for my tinnitus. I have tried many things. Turns out mine is caused by tiny damage in my ear drums. I am trying a new treatment for this. so far it seems to be working.

My husband and I both have tinnitus. We just try to ignore it. Sometimes I actually like it. Mine is two tones- an octave, f# and f#. But I would like to know if there's any way to get rid of it.
