Q: new born constipation

My daughter is on welfare for her new born so she cant just switch doctors and her 1 month old is having problems with constipation. I told her another remedy was to try to massage the belly on a clockwise direction to help with peristalsis. They have tried caro syrup and a few other things and the problem is still there. Any help would be great.

i was thinking about the caro syrup too but what my sons grandmother did was to lift his legs up while he was laying on his back and he like just pushed it on out and if that dont work its proberly the formula then try going to the emergency room
