I have never masturbated before. Help?

I am in my twenties and have never masturbated before to the point of ejaculation. In fact, penis-related activity, when taken far, is often painful. My girlfriend wants me to practice masturbating so that I can enjoy sexual activity a bit more and give her tips on how to pleasure me. I've experimented with lubricant, but haven't had any luck. I am a virgin, and hope that perhaps doing the "real thing" will fizzle out all these issues. I get wet dreams about once every three months.

So I realize I'm an unusual case. Do you have any advice for me?

Thank you for your question on ehealthforum.com

Your condition is not unique and in many parts of the world, you can see many males who have never masturbated. The reasons can be variable, but it is not unusual. Masturbation is not unhealthy, but it is not an essential thing to do if you want to enjoy your sex life. Since you mentioned about your sexual status, it may be a good idea to take things slowly and steadily with your partner and experiment to find what brings you the maximum satisfaction. Wet dreams are more frequent during early years of sexual life when you are a virgin and as you grow up they get infrequent. You do not have anything to be worried about and the only suggestion which can be put forward is, that you will find out what best suits your and your partner's needs when you initiate the real sexual intercourse. Thank you.
