Hello,

I'm in the process of getting a diagnosis for my symptoms and Multiple Sclerosis is still on the table. I'm just trying to get some perspective. I'm 23, female, and my symptoms began in February. I had intense jaw pressure one night, and the next day, my left hand gradually got really hot, my heart raced and then the left side of my body went totally numb. The hospital wrote me off as having a panic attack and sent me home.

Aside from this I've had neuropathy (numbness, tingling, itching, feeling of something crawling on my skin), I've also had numbness, cognitive difficulties, and fatigue, especially in the afternoon.

I've had several more instances of going numb on one side, but it's not always the left side, and sometimes it's both sides. I've also had isolated tachycardia without numbness. The last time it happened my nose itched like crazy for the five minutes before it happened.

I've also had a strange headache on the right side of my head that doesn't feel like a normal headache. It feels like intense pressure, or like someone is slowly blowing up a balloon in my head.

The tingling seems to be getting worse, especially in my right arm.

My cognitive problems tipped off a friend's mom who is a nurse to check my pulse ox. It turned out to be 88.

I'm not anemic, no hypoglycemia, no thyroid problems or B12 deficiencies. I had an MRI of my head on Wednesday and I am waiting for the results. I just want to know if MS is still on the table in light of my low pulse ox, or if anyone out there has any perspective. I'm going a little nuts here trying to get a diagnosis, and I have no insurance, so I'm paying in full for all these tests and any guidance would be greatly appreciated. baffle

Honey all you mention I have or have had as well..Mine is considered autoimmune but currently not MS-thought they did find some spots on my MRI of head and brain..This evidently is suppose to be the way of getting a proper diagnosis..With no insurance this test is expensive-over $1800 at least where I had mine done it was..But if you can see about this first..If it proves MS contact the MS.Com to see if they have financial assistance or recomendations..
