I am supposed to get my period soon since I got in on the 26th of March. Yesterday (Sunday) I had brown discharge only once after I went to the bathroom. I think last time I had my period I also had brown discharge before I got my period but I'm not positive. Saturday my boyfriend and I were grinding with no clothes but did not have sex and he did not ejaculate at all and I have not participated in other sexual activities this month besides that. I only got a little nervous because when I looked up brown discharge online it said that this can happen when there is implantation, but there was no ejaculation so that seems impossible but I'm still not sure what the brown discharge means. I have also been running a lot and recently lost weight so I am not sure if that has something to do with it. I have not had brown discharge since then. I also used the plan B pill back in December so maybe this has something to do with it. Help!

Plan B contains hormones to prevent pregnancy. Any time your hormone levels rise or drop there is the potential for spotting or other irregular menstrual bleeding. You probably bled a little, so little that it took a while to exit the vaginal canal. By then it was old blood and had turned brown.
Your next period may be late, very long or very short.
