My girlfriend as a result of breaking her ankle now has nerve damage as a result of a herniated disk. Unfortunately she does not have insurance so the doctors she has been seeing (Morro Bay, Ca) treat her with pain medication (vicodin), 3 epidurals (the last one almost killed her). She saw the doctor again yesterday and now they put her on morphine and percoset along with a higher dose of Trazadone (anti depressant) and now want to do another epidural called Sympathetic Nerve Coderal where they zap the nerve and put the lower spine area to sleep for a few hours in hopes to calm the nerve down. She needs a MRI, however can not afford it. Late as she is, she is trying to find health insurance to help. I don't understand why they didn't put her into physical therapy when this started two years ago. Anyway can you give me some solid information on the information I gave you?
Thanks for your time!!
