I had water in my ear from swimming. Nothing would get it out, so I tried a q-tip, which was my big mistake. I guess I went too deep. I now have a "dead ear"...loss of hearing and on the outside numbness. It has been like this for a week. I am on antibiotics. My question is, will my ear eventually return to normal or have i permanently damaged something? I can't stand the muffled sound and the constant water=fall sound that is inside the ear....
