I have been through MRIs, scans, sonagrams and everything else you can imagine. I did take steroid injections and they helped for a time, but the pain is still unbearable. I do have spinal stenosis but the vertebrae can not be operated on because of L5 and there is not a Dr. who will fuse the spine. I have been to Mayo and Marshfield clinics and some of the best Dr.s there are. I can not stand the pain. I walk with a walker and have been told there is damage to the nerves radiating from the sciatica and the L5 nerves. I am now on Morphine which gives me little relief. All other pain medications, physical therapy and chiropractic help has not relieved the pain. They are now talking about "abolition". I may have the spelling wrong. What am I looking forward to? I can find nothing that addresses this treatment as an answer to my unmanageable problem. Can you help?
