my darling father who is 88 years old with multiple medical problems is being processed to have the nerve ablation they are going to do a test 1st on Friday to see if it is the nerve that is causing enormous pain. he is currently in hospital having morphine injections to control the pain but he cannot have these when he goes home (my mum looks after him at home & has done a wonderful job to date) he had a fall about 2 months ago & they found a crack in his spine. His bones are very brittle. my concern is how the hell are they going to make this man lay on his stomach & do this test & how much suffering is he having to tolarate to have it done?? he has suffered so much in the last 10 years he wasn't suppose to see his 80th birthday thru the love & care of mum & family he has got to 88 but the morphine patches are not doing it for him anymore. We are looking for reaasurance and the doctors in charge are not giving it to us..
