Help. During birth my grandson had the cord around his neck, the birth was rushed and the probe punctured his head, which bled and left a gash in his head. Unaware that this happened, when I looked into his 2 hours old eyes, they were bouncing from side to side and he had some bubbles coming from his mouth. At 5 days old he developed jaundice and was admitted to the hospital. While visiting him I observed the eyes shaking and on other occasions I observed him with an awkward stare and twitching on the left side of his face (it looked almost exactly like Audrey's seizure (not as much tongue) on youtube. Later my daughter mentioned that she was concerned because she noticed the eye gaze and twitching. She told the pediatrician who, she said, stated that it was common and she asked me to let it go. The baby is 5 weeks and I noticed that his left shoulder and face(smiling) was twitching. Should the child be seen by a neurologist?
