Hi guys,

I live in Australia.

Let me start by saying thanks for looking at my question, I hope you can shed some light on this.

I fingered a girl almost 3 months ago. (around 82 days ago) during this action I put my fingers in my mouth for no more than a second.

This event caused me great stress over the first few weeks. I have had no symptoms since this time.

I got a blood test at 55 days, and a blood test at 78 days. Both for HIV and both came back negative.

Do I need to retest at 90 days? Or are my results conclusive?

Thank you so much.

Hello and welcome to e health forum.

First and foremost , there is no risk of HIV infection in your case.

HIV is not transmitted by the the description of your action. Hence there was no need for testing in the first place.

Your HIV status is negative, which has been confirmed by the HIV tests done so far.

You do not need to test anymore.

I hope this helps.
