Morning urine is more concentrated so it takes less hormone change to cause a [positive test result. There things that can mimic pregnancy signs--even PMS, or a late period combined with a fearful imagination--very common! Don't torture yourself--try again and do it right, or go see a doctor for a blood test.

You might not have enough HCg in your urine at the moment. When I was pregnant it took me 4 tests to prove it. It was just too early for the tests to read the HcG levels in my urine. Your doctors tests wont give you any better results if there just isnt enough hormone, wait a week and try again as the levels of HcG will have increased.
