hi iam from india.i had two hiv tests (one is 5 weeks after exposure and another is 10 weeks after exposure) after a unprotected sexual exposure...both tests came out to be negative...my question is "still what are the chances of getting infected wid hiv after a 10 week hiv elisa test? and should i still concerned about the exposure or shud i leave this topic and continue wid my normal life?"..plzz really inneed of your opinions and suggetions...Thank you brothers and sisters...

Test again in 6 months after exposure for complete conclusive results.

If you want to know the chances, the chance of you getting HIV is now less likely, but HIV may take up to 6 months to develop positive status.

So if you think your exposure was dangerous, yes i would check it. It is also hard to live with the feeling that u might have HIV but u are not sure.
