I have herpes and I'm not so sure what to do about it. I've been tested but, I haven't received my test result back yet. I am, however, more than positive that I have herpes because of the follow:

I have clusters of small bumps near the Labia Minora.

The bumps are sensitive, sometimes itch and burn when I touch them.

I read some where that you get fevers, depression, and on one side of your foot you'll experience burning or itching. All of these symptoms I have experience.

I have a small bump/boil on my butt-cheek.

I guess... I'm looking for some level of moral support. Right now, I feel like my life just ended. No, It doesn't sting when I urine or even when I get urine on the bump, but I still feel in my heart it is Herpes.

I'm so disgusted and ashamed.

Here's my story...at least it will make u feel better...

I NEVER kissed anybody....
and now I got herpes because somebody with herpes switched their glass with mine!

Im freaking ugly, and all my hopes of someday having a girlfriend are gone.....

And whats worst...yesterday I got something in my nose in place near my eye!
And It has some of the herpes symptoms....

Now if that is herpes, It will make two places already with herpes...and you want more?
THAT THING IN MY NOSE...IS REALLY REALLY CLOSE TO MY EYE
Im afraid if thats herpes in my nose, im gonna get it in my eye too!

And we all know we can get blind if we get herpes in my eye!!!

I FEEL LIKE KILLING MYSELF!

well. ive been told i have herpes type 1. (i got it supposebly before i was 10 yrs old ) i had a blood blister in my mouth. but honestly i think he was wrong. but i cried. luckily my fiance didnt hold it against me and we have been researching it was a canker sore that i had with blood in it. I can tell you that there is medication out there you can take to keep it under control. I wish you the best of luck. Keep your head up.

1 out of 6 people have some form of herpes. that means if you are on a bus with 60 people, 10 of them have herpes.
it gets better by time, the longer you have it the less break outs you get. there will be a time you dont get any out breaks.
i want you to check out this cool website that tells you everything you need to know about herpes, they even have a date line, chat line for people that understands each other and what theyre going through. it is herpes.com check it out.
be strong and dont allow this to destroy you.

herpes-coldsores.com is the best website with a great forum and live chat.

Actually, more than 1 in 6 people have herpes. About 1 in 4 women have genital herpes, and 1 in 5 men. And over 60% of the population had herpes type 1 orally.

Not everybody has symptoms, so a lot of people with herpes don't realize they have it. You may feel like your life is over as you know it, but it isn't. The only thing that's changed is that you have herpes and need to tell future sex partners before sex. You can manage the virus, and still do everything just like before, except for sex. BUT that doesn't mean your sex life will change or suck. There are lots of people who are not idiots about this, and just because you have herpes doesn't mean you won't be able to date. Many people are willing to learn about it and educate themselves, and if someone isn't willing to date you because you have herpes, then that person wasn't the person you should be with anyway. If everyone got blood tested for herpes, the stigma of herpes would vanish. Because quite a lot of people who make jokes about herpes would find out they have it! Herpes is only a skin irritation caused by a virus. It doesn't kill you, and most people have very little problems with it. It is very manageable and some people may never have another outbreak. It's just an inconvenience once in a while.

If you want someone for support, feel free to email me. I have been there, it hasn't changed anything about my life. I have a boyfriend who doesn't have it, and we have been together for 2 years.

OH, please don't feel ashamed. Herpes does not discriminate. Anyone who has sex one time can get it. Anyone who has oral sex can get it. It is JUST A VIRUS that has a lot of ridiculous stigma attached to it. Many more people have herpes than know it!

i feel your pain. found out this summer, right after having sex with my boyfriend for the first time (with him) & in i would say 2 days i had the symptoms, and instead of going to the gyno i thought i was having an allegric reaction to the magnum condoms so i just kept on using vagasil, bad idea. When i went to my gyno, i spread my legs & she knew in a second, a SECOND that I had herpes. I didn't know what to do...
how come all the other girls my bf has dated before me don't have it or have no symptoms but i do ? why me?
either he got it from his ex or he got it as a child from a horrible horrible baby sitter.
and to add to the fact, i waited to go to the doctor so long that i got a bacteria infection...
and im afraid to think that i have to take the meds for ever since the 5day pill that she have me for when i have outbreaks doesn't really help since i have had outbreaks almost once a month Sad

again, i feel your pain.
