i love the marathon! my son is in one now and we're getting one soon for our daughter. it rear-faces for up to 33 lbs and forward faces for up to 65. it has one of the higher height limits, so it's a great seat to invest in. unlike other convertible seats you'll most likely be able to go from the marathon to a booster once they outgrow it. it also could not be easier to install. it's a great seat and i highly recommend it!

eta: and as a bonus, if you have a smaller vehicle, the marathon takes up less room than the snugride even when the marathon is rear-facing. which means more leg room up front!
