Question Question Question Question

Hi i'm 24 years old and i have never been on birth control,

well i've always had bad problems with cramps so i thought it would do some good since i've heard women talk about how the pill lessens their cramps.

and not to mention my boyfriend will be coming home from iraq here soon so it'd also help in that area as well Wink

so i'm pretty stupid but, i know what the nurse at the health department told me but, i want to be on the safe side and have already called cvs to ask and they told me i was doing it right but here it goes:

i started my period on sunday; march 8, 2009, and since my dial was already set on sunday on the white pills, i took one last night at 8pm to start the ball rolling of the birth control,

i did do this right?correct?

i start with the white [sun; 1] and go all the way around the dial, until 28, right?

i noticed when i woke up this morning i had been tossing and turning anyway with bad cramps but i was very sick feeling, i know sugar pills cannot do too much but, i did start the pills off right?

so i take sunday, day one, and go from there all the way around to day 28, and when i'm done i'll start a new set and it'll be set on again to sunday; 1, because that should be i would think i'd start my period again since i began on my period, and started the white pills,

the guy at cvs told me i was doing it right and i tried calling the health department off and on today and no answer so i've been googling up and down and now doing this, i need an answer, please.

thank you so much sunny

anyone have feed back about this and answer i'd love to read it, and also any side effects any one has expierneced please feel free to tell me too.

i'd hate to have a decreased sex drive when him coming home from iraq, lol or me blimp up! hahaha, so anything will do to help me, and relieve me about the question i have to start with, thanks!

sounds like you did it right
It sounds like you followed the instructions Smile your day 1 start and sunday start are just the same. So, just keep taking them all the way around, and you should get your period when you start the green pills (the placebos), however, it does take a couple of months for it to regulate your body so it may be different for a while.

I started the same birth control the same day you did. I haven't had any really bad side effects yet, no weight gain, slight moodiness but it seems to have gone away, my skin has been clearing up, and I can't tell if my sex drive is better or worse, lol it seems to go back and forth.
