hi everyone. Last night before i was going to bed my throat started feeling really weird like it was closing up and then when i was laying down i started to notice my cheeks were hurting and so was the bottom of my jaw and i was feeling it and it felt dis-aligned. Then when I turned my head I felt a big pain in the side of it like i was stressing a muscle. I didn't tell my mom because i have a lot of muscle pain and as for the jaw thing, my jaw always pops. but when i woke up this morning I couldn't breathe very well and my jaw is still hurting like its really soar and my neck is so stiff.. I'm wondering what exactly this is and is there a way to treat it. Is it tmj, is it an allergic reaction, or is this one of those things that teens go through?
I'm sixteen almost seventeen by the way so I thought I already went through that teen crap. Your answers are very much appreciated.
thanks

have you visited a doctor? isolation and hiding of pain is only good for so long and for particular association, so don't be afraid of sharing this with your mom. she can handle it, I am sure.

No, teens don’t go through that.

If your jaw pops you have a TMJD.
