started having awful pain in my left shoulder blade. It then got progressively worse. I woke up one morning in excrutiating pain in the whole of my left arm which was very debilitating. I then noticed a numbness and tingling in my left ring and little fingers and underneath on the heel of my hand. My doctor gave me Motrin and vicodine but pain and numbness is still present although less severe. I now have a lot of neck pain and stiffness especially in the mornings. Can anyone suggest what else it may be.
