Frustrated with trying to find relief for neck/back pain after being rear ended. Symptoms also include pain down left arm with tingling in the hand. Also pain in lower abdomen/groin and around to under ribs in my back and to the front. I am told this is all lift from my back pain. Doctor did an MRI of Cervical and Lower Back. Lower back showed inflamation/swelling but no problem with discs. Cervical showed cervical straightening and some discs slightly bulging. Doc made it seem like no big deal. My daily life has changed because my choice is to live with nagging pain or be groggy on muscle relaxants and in just slightly less pain. If I take a full dose I am emotional and if I take 1/2 pain is still there but slightly less groggy. I have energy problems as it is so hard to function feeling tired all the time. I am self employed insurance agent so if I am not motivated to work....I don't have $ coming in. I also am tired because I am having sleeping problems. Get massage 2-3 times a week with some muscle stimulation through a machine. How long do I expect to feel this way and is there any better treatment solutions? I used to work out 5 days a week doing bag classes, pilates and muscle toning and was proud that I was fit in my mid-40's...now I can only do light exercises without experiencing pain. The accident occured about 5 weeks ago.

Thank you for posting. Did you have any responses? What you speak of, I experience also, so I was wondering what feedback you received as I would like to learn in tandem as not to re-invent the wheel as it were.
