To make this short - I've had those "near-fainting" spells since I was about 13.
I know this is normal for girls and it happens once in a while.

However,
Over this summer I've had these "near-fainting" spells nearly everyday for about 3-4 months and completely fainted twice. It's usually when I get up (as expected) and I can't move as everything slowly closes in.

Background info - I'm 19 (female), I run track for the University and eat healthy.

I'm not looking for a complete diagnosis but has anyone experienced this and have any idea what it could be related to?

Hello,

Welcome to ehealthforum

Fainting spells can be due to anemia, low blood sugar, blood pressure changes, thyroid disorder etc.
Since they have been present since long you require a complete examination and investigations which would help in the diagnosis.Kindly do not ignore it and visit a Physician for evaluation.

Take Care!
