Hello everyone,
I am a 20 year old male and for the past month i have been feeling nauseous and i haven't been eating alot, everytime i eat i get nauseous. I lost about 20 pounds. Lately i have been feeling burning in my back when i sit up and i had a few times where right below my ribs there would be burning as well. I went to the doctors 3 times and they were for blood work and the one time he said the liver count check was a little high and then the next time he said it was better. They also told me that gallbladder disease isn't as common in males but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen. I have an appointment on monday with the gastro intestinal doctor but i was just curious before going. I just have a question to ask....any help or personal feedback would be greatly appreciated.

If not gallbladder disease, any other ideas at what it may be?

Unfortunately, there are multiple potential causes of the symptoms that you have described. An ultrasound of the gallbladder can quickly determine whether or not you have gallstones (and, yes, males can also get gallstones, although this problem is quite uncommon in young men).
