I have a bad taste in my mouth that makes
me nauseas.I have had a ct scan on my
stomach and it was ok. This has been
going on for about 4 weeks, and is
interfearing with my eating, all I can eat
that won't make me sick is eggs and
toast.It isn't medication causing it.
It's a sour taste and it's there all the
time.It's driving me crazy , I have lost 5
pounds in 4 days, and don't feel like
doing anything.Please>>>>if
anyone can help please do. The doctor is
at a loss. He wants to try a ct scan on
my head. Any

Could you be preg? I dont know about
sour--but some women say bad taste in
mouth, that makes them sick to stomach.

If your missing certian types of
neturients, it causes your body to
produce some type of chemicals that can
make your taste buds react. So if you
were on some type of diet that could have
caused it!

I can't be pregnant, and I don't know
about the nutritions. How would you go
about figuring that out. Is there a test
to check your chemicals in your body?

Hmmm im not sure about any tests, but I
remember learning about it in biology a
few semesters ago. Like if you were on
the adkins diet; I cant remember what she
was missing, but something that you got
from something that has carbs. The breath
had a sweet smell and things tasted bad.
I would say call a doctor and ask them
about it. There are no stupid questions!

I know this post was from a while ago..
But I was just diagnosed with gerd....
Gastroesophageal reflux disease.. It's
when your stomach acid comes up your
esophagus.... In other words... The
backflow of stomach acid
symptoms include:
- upset stomach
- stomach ache
- sour/bitter taste in your mouth
- heartburn
- reflux of food that has been swallowed
