I've always been nauseous day to day for as long as I can remember, but until this year it hasn't been anything debilitating. My doctor's always told me it's stress and I figured it was until this year. Since February, my nausea has continuously worsened day-to-day. It's to the point where I can only get out of bed for an hour before I have to lay down. Because I'm 17 and have no fever, they refuse to do any tests beyond blood tests and urine tests (and they only do that if my parents and I beg them.) I've been to the hospital roughly 12-16 times mostly from dehydration but also from pain and severe disorientation. The last time I was in the hospital, I was laying on a stretcher in the doorway of Pediatrics at Baystate (Springfield, MA). Despite the fact I was curled up in pain, pale as a sheet, and such they threw a small amount of Zofran at me and sent me home.

I've been trying to get my doctor's attention, but they're always saying there's nothing they can do because I don't have a fever. I will have "lucky days" now and then where I can get up and do a few things so I decided that I should today. I am not on any medications nor am I pregnant. Due to the fact that pelvic exams are always abnormally painful for me, every time I go for my GYN exam they say I have a pelvic infection and give me the antibiotics for such, though they always say I'm "clean" when they get the urine results back. I take the antibiotics, but I've always been strangely 'over-sensitive' down there so it's a normal thing for me. I don't have a UTI (I have test kits in the house because my mom gets them frequently).

I cannot take any of the normal nausea medications, because they will make me vomit. I've had tiny prescriptions of Fenigrin and Zofran, but they refuse to prescribe me any more due to my age. I have a few Zofran left, but I've found that this month it is not even taking the edge off. Typically my nausea is worse at night and in the mornings, but is starting to be constant throughout the day. I can barely eat/drink and I cannot sleep for more than 2 hours a night (explaining my exhaustion). I've been able to get a few sips of iced tea down in recent days, but I hopefully can get checked for dehydration (I have no way of getting to the doctors right now as my mom is in AdCare and my stepdad believes I'm faking it so he will not drive me).

I do not have vomiting unless I take nausea medications, but the nausea is absolutely paralyzing. I spend hours a day in front of the toilet. My doctor will not give me a referral to a gastroenterologist, so I'm finding it difficult to find anyone who will take me once I can get a ride. I do not have diarrhea. The only other recent symptoms are a clear mucus from my anus (occasionally there is a bit of blood in it, but not usually), severe loss of balance, and my stomach will 'bloat out' but I won't feel bloated then it'll go down and bloat out again. This is starting to scare me, I need answers or at least some advice on how to get them to listen to me so that I could at least get some tests.

I just want to be able to eat and sleep again, that's all. Someone please help me.

It seems like this nausea is serious enough that it would definitely warrant a visit to a gastroenterologist. Would you be able to visit a different doctor in order to get a referral?
