Q: Natural gas and cancer ?

can natural gas methane cause cancer that's in remission to go into relaspe? i've been cancer free 9 years. and found two leaks in my apartment methane and carbon dioxide. could this reinstated my cancer to come back?. i've been exposed to these two leaks all winter long with no ventalation.please help thanks respect
