I hear that polyps only occur to people aged 40 and above. I being only 26, find it hard that I would be diagnosed with the said polyp. The doctor suggest a CAT Scan, but knowing my history of nasal surgery (I was born with a cleft pallate), I figured it's only a temporary thing, nothing to worry about, but reading through the symptoms that leads to nasal polyps I fear that I might have it after all. My symptoms are:
I can't breath through my nose
I get headaches
And if I blow my nose, it shows blood together with the mucus
I snore heavily at night
I barely sleep well
I wake up with a sore throat
What I want to know is if I can get rid of it naturally? I am sick and tired surgeries, and I don't want to have anything to do with it. On the other hand, I don't want this polyp ruining my face, I tried so hard to look the way I do right now, and I am happy with it.
Please tell me there's a better option than surgery. The doctor said the tissues were irritated and only worsen last Tuesday, probably because of my allergies.I have dust allergies and no matter how hard I try to clean the house, it's almost always dusty cause people constantly comes in and out and there's too many belongings.
I really do not want a surgery. I hear that it takes about 3 weeks to heal: I can't afford that cause I have work, and that the surgery might change my enounciation as well. I don't want that either.
