Q: Nail infection and MRSA

Hey I have had pain in my index finger for a couple days. Just figured it was a hang nail or cut in my cuticle. I don’t do my nails or put stuff on them. I do chew the sides off though,.

Well now its infected. As I type my finger is pulsing. Its red and inflamed and becoming very painful. I cant visibly see anything wrong with it…something is in there though. So how do I get rid of this infection? I really need to fast because I have MRSA. Well I usually get MRSA on any cuts I have. Im so worried that it could be MRSA and if it is it always gets worse and I have to have it cut out. I cant imagine having to have my finger cut open.

So how do I get this infection out? There is no pimple or head so I cant poke it. Its literally under my skin and I cant see it

clean the area well and apply betnadin or a similar antiseptic and put a band aid on it ... thats really all you can do. Make sure its clean and stop chewing your nails! Smile
