Back pain symptoms may seem obvious. But do you know when symptoms of back pain are more serious or when to see a doctor? Learn what action to take & when...
I had an x stop spacer put in my back in January, and 2 weeks later I started have leg pain terribly. So I went to a different doctor and said it is more likely to be a pinched nerve and nothing to do with a knee problem, so he suggested mylegram, but I remember how painful those are and was wondering do you think if I ask the doctor to put me in the hospital the night before to relax better and keep me overnight after the procedure they would? I know you have to lay flat for at least 4 hours.

hi patt
i've had several of them and had very little pain....
i doubt insurance will pay for the extra time in hospital.
ask your dr for a couple of sleeping pills to be used at home before and after the procedure. in all probability they will give you something to relax you before the procedure.
this procedure used to be a lot more painful but nowadays its not bad......pete
