i have a daughter who has not long turned 2 years old. We found out in june that she has a dislicated hip and had it from birth. We are waiting o here a date for her to have an opperation. Her left leg is a good inch longer than her right. Her left foot is getting worse and her limp as she walks. Her left foot seems to be dragging more and also it looks as though it is calapsing through the weight that she put on it from walking. Is there anything that i can do to make them put her opperation forward at all as i really do think she is in pain from it at times. She does walk but the last few weeks she does seem to be not wanting to walk as much and wil just sit down and have people carry her. Why this was not found at birth i do not know. I am very cross and upset about. I have wrote a letter to the hospital and to my local mp about the situation and the hospital said that her op will be in september. I have rang the hospital today and they have now said that it will be in october. This is far to long as she has really been waiting over 2 years now as she has had it from birth. Can you advise me at all with anything else i can do for her and to sort the opperation out. Many thanks a very worried mother.
