MY X Husband

i have been divorced for about 5 years now. my x and i have always had a decent relationship and all of the sudden he has turned in instant as. he recently lost our home that we had for alot of years which i gave himwhen we divorced. i still had alot of my personal things there and im very anger that they are gone. i sent him messages asking if i could come get them before the loan co took the home and got no response i recently saw him at a event and he acted like a jerk. i do understand that eh went through some major changes but thought we had enough respect for each other to not do things that hurt each other. im really struggling with this can anyone offer advice?
