Sir ,

As my Elisa test AND Trio-dot result NEGATIVE AFTER my first protected sex 4 years back.

And same Elisa NEGATIVE after last protected sex after 3 moth ( At this time that girl also got tested and she is also negative )

But after that 3 month test i found swelling in my left armpit and now its almost 5 weeks its still there ( SIZE IS NOT SO BIG AND CANT SEE BY NAKED EYE BUT I CAN FEEL WITH MY HAND)

TWO WEEK BEFORE I CONSULT WITH MY FAMILY DOCTOR HE SAID ITS FUNGAL INFECTION ON MY BODY ( I HAVE FUNGAL INFECTION ALL OVER MY BODY FROM LAST TWO YEARS DUE TO SWEAT BUT I IGNORED THAT )

He gave me some antibiotic ( 1 tablet for week and its four weeks course )

Now two weeks past and my swelling is still there cant understand its decreasing or not coz its very small when saw first time .

I dont understand what to do , my both result negative after 4 years ( two test elisa and trio-dot )and Me and that girl also negative after 3 month (second exposure )

very scared.

Hello and welcome to e health forum.

Your symptoms are not due to HIV.

Since the node has persisted for a long time, (5 weeks), it needs to be evaluated for conditions like tuberculosis, or some chronic infections.

You might consult a surgeon, who can do a biopsy of the enlarged lymph node, and get a tissue diagnosis.

I hope this helps.
