Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
Abdominal discomfort or tightening in late pregnancy in response to stimulus could indicate uterine hyperactivity. Do not ignore your symptoms. Visit your gynecologist/midwife for further evaluation and assistance. If uterus is found to be overactive, you will be started on uterine relaxants to help with smooth continuation of pregnancy upto term (depending on fetal wellbeing). Keep a check of daily fetal kick count. Avoid stimulating the uterus. Take adequate rest. Drink plenty of water. Maintain healthy diet. Be in regular follow-up and monitoring of your treating gynecologist/obstetrician and report any unusual/abnormal/new symptoms immediately.
Take care.
