My right eye twitches a lot, hurts sometimes, uncomfortable.

My right eye twitches a lot, hurts sometimes, and it feels really uncomfortable. It feels weird and not normal. It's getting worse and more uncomfortable. Sometimes the twitching goes to the left eye but it's mostly just the right eye. I don't really know whats wrong. My mother doesn't care and would never take me to see a doctor. She always thinks I am lying or thinks nothing is wrong. I really would like to know what it could be.
