The first day of my last period was 10/20/11. The previous period was 9/20/11. (I'm on a 29-32 day cycle) In November, I got no blood but light brown discharge from 11/23-11/28. My period never came and today is 12/10/11. I've taken tests, and only one has a faint pink line next to a"clear" evap line, so I'm really confused. I'm 23, no meds (including cough drops/medicine), never missed a period, haven't even had a cold in almost two years. Any insight as to what is happening would be much appreciated.

Am I Pregnant Answer A29297
Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
If you had been sexually active after last normal periods (and if you are not on any form of birth control measures), chances of pregnancy are possible. The urine pregnancy tests rarely show you false positive results. If pregnancy is suspected, look out for development of any other new symptoms suggestive of pregnancy and consider visiting your gynecologist at the earliest for thorough examination (to confirm pregnancy related changes/signs in body) and blood/serum HCG level test (to confirm/rule out pregnancy accurately). You may also consider taking a urine pregnancy test (on an early morning first urine sample) to see if you get positive results, or get it confirmed by a blood HCG test (avoid lot of fluid intake or caffeinated beverage intake in the previous night before test). Be in regular monitoring and follow-up with your treating doctor/gynecologist and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately. Drink plenty of water. Take adequate rest. Maintain healthy diet.
Take care.
