Q: My period came early

I have now been back on Diane 35 for five months now(this is the fifth month) and just this morning, I had gotten my period even though I still have one week of pills left to take!

I have the 21 pack of pills so there is no placebo pills to take. Has anyone ever had this happen before? Last week, I had forgotten to take Tuesday's pill so I had taken it with Wednesday's so I wouldn't miss any of them. Could that have caused the early period? I've been on these pills for six years before stopping them last year so I can't see it being a problem with me reacting to the pills.

Should I be concerned?

NO do not be concerned at all.

You are not having your 'period', your period ONLY COMES during your 'no pill' week.If you went to the doctor and they asked you when your last period was, they mean your pill free week, not in between.

You are having BREAKTHROUGH BLEEDING because you missed a pill tuesday. Almost ALL women who miss pills will have bleeding, this is because your hormone level was disrupted.

Thank you!

I didn't think this would happen since I took both the missed pill and the one I was suppose to take on the same day but it obviously did! I had done this before when I had forgotten to take a pill and I've had any bleeding so it freaked me out a bit. With the amount of blood I had, I thought it was actually my period.
