I am 27 and had a Total Hysterectomy in April LAVH my cervix was removed I had severe endometriosis and had two lap procedures before and never had a normal period just severe cramping. I went to 8 GYN's before find an amazing one who actually cared about me and knew that this was the only thing left for me and on-top of that I have a History of UTI'S Yeast and B.V infections and also MRSA anyways also Vulvadina and Lichens planis. Anyways on January 1st I became very sick and had severe cramping below my belly botton and mild fevers and vomitting Since then my GYN has done two CT's with contrast and has also done multiple blood test. He told me something about Adhesions probabaly but he is nervous about opening me up right now because all the infections I got after surgery but I can't continue to take pain meds I lost my Jobe because of it. I really like him but all my nurse friends say surgery needs to happen soon. What should I do he cares alot about me and doesn't want to lose me.

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
The symptoms could be due to pelvic adhesions. If the ovaries were left behind and are functional, it can also trigger endometriosis due to hormonal changes (if there were implants left behind). The exact cause can only be made out after careful evaluation along with a diagnostic laparoscopy examination. Be in regular monitoring and follow-up with your treating doctor/gynecologist and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately. Be regular with your medications and follow the instructions given by your treating doctor/gynecologist.
Take care.
