Hi there.
About 2 years ago my nose was broken after getting attacked, I have a nasal fracture and it is curved now due to it. This isnt what's bothering me though, my nose has started ( over the past 2 years ) to get droopy, and its assymetrical aswell, one side is bumped out while the other is neater. Ive been wondering if its been serious enough to go to the doctors with but I found this forum and hope someone can help. I recently read up on "septal hematomas" that can happen due to leaving a fracture untreated. I think this might be what I have in one side of my cartilage which is making it bump out and making it bigger than the other side of my nose, my nose looks ok from one side and the other it is different which I dont think is natural.
Do you notice down the left hand side of my face, the bump which sticks out at the tip of my nose just as the nostril starts? Could this be deformed like this due to a septal hematoma or can some one give me some different advice ? Any help is appreciated, Thanks in advance - Craig.
