My girlfriend and I have been sexually active for about a year or 2 now. Recently she told me that when we perform sexual activities it hurts her and she is sore for the next day. I don't know if there is any discharge, she doesnt like to talk about it. We have stopped being sexually active in the last 8 months, because i dont want to hurt her, but she wont see a doctor. i have been researching for a while now and i think it is either dyspareunia, or Vaginismus. i am worried if she waits to go to a doctor it will be un-healable. i am worried about her. Any suggestions, or ideas what could be wrong, or if i need to get her to go to the doctor soon?

erm
Is she lubricated enough when you have sex? that could be a reason. If she isn't then you can use lubrication or try extending your foreplay. I mean like doing thing s to make her feel relaxed and happy like a long walk and reading poetry, (find out what she likes first)or massages with oils, stuff like that.
Somethings medical science doesn't have a proper answer for yet so I think you should try that as well as checking with the doctor.
Good luck and keep us posted?

Another thing I would look into is an semen allergy. Yes I know it sounds odd but it is in fact a legitimate affliction. It is often accompanied by typical allergic symptoms, IE a rash or itchiness throughout the body (not just locally around the vaginal area.)However, there are some cases where it simply manifests as pain.
