Hey all, I just had surgery yesterday, and since I had talked to you guys about it before, I thought I would tell you how it all went! :)

Okay, so the doctors were great. I am a worrywart, but they did a good job of keeping me calm. I had a minimally invasive decompression of my L5-S1 spinal area, and it was crazy to hear how they did it. With only a half-inch incision, they use lasers to burn away tissue that was pinching my nerves causing pain, and it all only took 45 minutes. I was able to drive home after spending thirty minutes in recovery, and enjoying a complimentary apple pie! I really enjoyed my experience, and am feeling better already. I'll get back to work on monday and am psyched to not have to miss a lot of time and money! Thanks for reading guys Smile

One more update guys: I am back to work and my back hasn't failed me yet! I did take some painkillers at the insistence of my husband though LOL.
