My ex pulled years of "having" Multiple Personalities.
He'd faint, get up as "someone else", later faint and 'come back'.

It was all very real to me and I put up with it for too many years.
These personalities would hit me and force sex on me and it was just a terrible way for me to live. Then of course, I couldn't think badly of my boyfriend at the time, because it was his personalities doing it, not "him".

After I finally got away from him, he tried to win me back with him getting them "fixed". He said he just went for an appointment a little ways out, like some dentist appointment that just takes and hour. I know you can't just get rid of them like that. For years, I'd beg him to seek medical attention, because I know many people with MPD live normal lives and just take pills to suppress and they work through it all.

Anyway, so yes, I found out that he was lying about them, just to be able to hit me around and rape me. I know it's fraud, but can I actually have him taken to court for this? I was under the impression that he had a genuine mental disorder.

I found papers in regards to the personalities. Notes he wrote to me and he mentions the personalities "coming out" during certain times of the day and what not. As well as a paper I had him write down questions to the personalities, then once they would "come out", they would write back in response. So, I have his hand-writing of him completely embracing the fact about these personalities.
