my doctor is missing!

A local corporate group has apparently "fired" my doctor. They are assuming that I will just go see some other docter in their employ. I cannot get any help from them as to where he is , How to contact him or even why he is no longer affiliated with them.
I am outraged as to why an excellent physician is suddenley no longer my doctor!
With NO explaination.
I feel that I was (and am) his patient. Not a patient of the corporation that he worked for. Is there any recourse? shouldn't communication between myself and my physician be up to him and myself? not some corporate manager?
How do I find him (or least allow to him contact me) if he wishes to continue my care as a private practice doctor?
Please help! I do not want to lose an excellent physician due to some "business"
disagreement with his former employers.
I am under his care for a life threatening illness, And he has my complete confidence. PLEASE help me if any of you knows how!
Sincerely Ray F. Potter

Hi Ray,
Some doctors do say one day at one hospital and other days at other hospitals, you could try searching the internet with his speciality and name and seeing if he advertises a private clinic somewhere. The problem you may have is actually getting referred to him. I am in the same boat - my psciatrist no longer does clinics in my local hospital at Richmond North Yorkshire, however to get referred to him I'd have to go through my gp's surgery however they say there's nothing wrong with my mental health, but I'd still like a check up. So let me know if you find a way of contacting a doctor directly and requestion an appointment without a referral.

I have a friend with lupus who tried to get in touch with a doctor who left suddenly I'm not sure how she managed to get in contact with her but she never managed to get an appointment for some reason. So don't give up hope and try and get in contact through the internet or try asking your gp if they have a private clinic number for him.
