My dad has liver cancer

Hi all, My dad has liver cancer with one big tumor 8x9sm. and in stage 4. but not transferred to another organs. now he has Radiotherapy and heireotherapy. Since we are in China sometimes having misunderstanding etc. so is there anybody who got these treatments? how effective was it?? and what to do to prevent side effects? also doctor says its ok to do everyday. so is it OK to have every day a radiotherapy? please advice me. also what we can eat or drink during the radiotherapy? what to care etc. thanks a lot
